Dolphin Trips
Avoch Dolphin Trips: available during the summer, regular departures from Avoch Harbour. (1.5miles).
EcoVentures, Cromarty - Experience the thrill aboard a high speed, offshore RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) and share first hand the unique scenery, wildlife and history of our area. EcoVentures operate from the historic village of Cromarty on the eastern most tip of the Black Isle.
Golf
Golf Course Fortrose & Rosemarkie: This James Braid designed links has been acclaimed by golf writers as "a gem of a course" and "perhaps the brightest jewel in the Highlands golfing crown".
Mountain Biking
Learnie Red Rock Cycle Trail: One of the best kept secrets of Scottish mountain biking has now been officially opened (March 2006)- the new single track trails are now open at Learnie Forest on the Black Isle.
Mountain Bike & Family Cycle Hire. There are now Mountain Bike Trails near Rosemarkie.
Black Isle Bicycles offer bike hire, route advice, guided tours and skills sessions on the beautiful Black Isle. Cromarty Firth Ferry
The Cromary Ferry: (The Kings Route). This small ferry only takes two cars at a time, but is a rewarding experience to cross from Cromarty to Nig. Operates June to October. Details on www.Black-Isle.info
